• Sleeping Bag (for temperatures down to 10 degrees F)
• Rifle Caliber (your preference, if it's sufficient for the animal being hunted)
• Rifle Scabbard
• Camera and Plenty of Film
• Nylon Sport Duffle Bag (for taking capes home)
• Water Bottle

Clothing

• Waterproof Hiking Boots (with cleated soles, well broke in)
• Light Hiking Boots (for hot weather and around camp)
• Rain Gear
• Layered Type Clothing (suitable for hot and cool temperatures)
• Hat (with ear flaps)
• Gloves (two pair, one that is waterproof)
• Plenty of Socks

Additional Gear for Hunting Cougar, Lynx and Bobcat

• Felt packs or waterproof boots with deep cleated soles
• Wood pants or waterproof pants (all clothing should be suitting for winter)
• No sleeping bad is required for cougar hunts
